How It Works?
If you wish to purchase the SIM card from Spain, you need a national ID or a passport in order to purchase the Orange Tu Mundo Prepaid SIM Card. The reason is because SIM cards need to be registered.
On the other hand, you can purchase the card online in advance. And so once you receive the SIM card, you need to request to have the SIM activated at least 48 hours before leaving to Europe.
With all this said, if you choose to use the Orange Tu Mundo prepaid SIM for data only, you have 30 days to use them from the date you activate your SIM card (see image below). Moreover, you cannot use the data plan in the following countries below with the Orange Tu Mundo prepaid SIM:
- Switzerland.
- Andorra.
- Monaco.
- Vatican City.

Furthermore, if you choose to use the Orange Tu Mundo Prepaid SIM for calling, incoming calls are free and if you wish to call out is limited (see image below). For instance, the Orange Tu Mundo prepaid SIM is great for calling to book hotel or restaurants within Europe. Not to mention, if you have friends that are using the same Orange Tu Mundo Prepaid SIM card in Spain, calls are free.
How Much Does The Orange Tu Mundo Prepaid SIM Card Cost?
The Orange Tu Mundo Prepaid SIM Card starts at €15 depending on the plan you choose. And this includes data plan as well as voice. It does not include a Text plan. If you wish to send a text, use Whatsapp or any other VOIP application to do that, it’s much cheaper that way. If you send a text message, it will cost $1 per message.
