What If I Don’t Want To Use Easy Roam In An Eligible Easy Roam Destination?
You would be charged pay per use rates. But you need to opt out of Koodo easy roam first and so once you opt out of Koodo Easy Roam, you will need to add the International Voice Roaming and International Data Roaming add-ons to your account if you want your phone to work abroad. But I don’t recommend you do that, because this way it will cost you a fortune to use your phone abroad with the pay per use rates.

You Log into self serve > select “Mobile Services” > Select “Manage Add-ons”.

How Do I Activate Koodo Easy Roam?
To activate roaming on Koodo, you text ROAM to 7626. On the other hand, you could log into your self serve account and add it that way as well. So you Log in to your Self Serve account. And in the drop-down menu, select View rate plan and then select Details beside the Easy Roam section >Select Add to plan on the next screen and you are good to go.
What Happens If I have easy Roam and I use my phone during a layover? Ex: I am traveling to Asia but have a layover in the U.S.?

In conclusion, Koodo easy roam is not worth it. I am a cheap person and I like to save money whenever I can. With this said, I can save so much if I use an international SIM rather than have to use Koodo Easy Roam.
