Furthermore, it has an 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 1.2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

My Recommendation
I personally cannot afford a brand new in the box apple iPhone. So I checked out this phone and I loved it. One of the best phone to carry around with you. With all this said, you can use it when traveling abroad, as long as you use it with a GSM SIM card carrier. Simply insert the SIM Card you wish to use and you are ready to go.
Not to mention, you can use this with your local carrier if you dislike being on contracts. I hate contracts so I rather use unlocked phones, so I don’t have to pay tons of money for a phone through a carrier. I think it’s a rip-off. If you wish to use this with your local carrier, you must use it with a GSM carrier in order for it to work.
This phone will not work if you wish to use it with Sprint or Verizon (in the US), because the phone is not CDMA compatible. If you plan to use your unlocked phone with Sprint or Verizon, check out this list of fully unlocked apple iPhones for under $200.
In essence, if you are afraid because it’s a refurbished phone. Don’t forget that you have 90 days to return the item, either for a full refund or have the phone replaced with the Amazon 90 days renewed guarantee. But these phones are inspected and are fully checked by Amazon qualified suppliers.
